<ajiav> You see, Sarah herself isn't a mother yet. She did get pregnant once, but miscarried about two months into it, while still trying to decide whether or not she was going to have it, so it is difficult to say how functional her maternal instinct actually is. She imagines herself in possession of a kind of scientific objectivity, but it is more honest to say that she refuses to recognize and acknowledge her sexual needs and emotional drives. These, of course, get channeled into her work, resulting in silly discourses like the one above.
