Description

The challenge was to take the top 3 most emailed photos on yahoo and create a hopefully amusing story about the sequence. I reserve the right to refuse a disturbing picture, this includes any pictures of celine dion.

<obtuse> Hari-kiri. Or seppuku. Though I vaguely recall reading that there was a very fine distiction between the two.

<guyPaulo> Hari-kiri is were you sh*t yourself after the stab. Seppuku is where you just start crying like a little girl when you realize how stupid you are as your duodenum falls onto the floor.
<3Suns> Seppuku is Japanese ritual disembowelment where you drag a tanto knife horizontally beneath your ribcage. Hara-kiri is just a slang term for same, meaning "belly-slicing", and always referring to the actual act of disembowelment rather than the entire ritual that involves the samurai's page lopping off their head with their katana afterwards.
<mypalmike> I was wondering why that "Hari Kiri" drink I ordered at the Japanese restaurant gave me the runs.
