<guyPaulo> Am I the only one who finds it distressing that the 15-foot great white is only about 25 feet or so from shore?
<Kumiho> I lived in Pensacola for a number of years, sharks in the seas and 'gators in the bayous. No, I don't find it distressing at all.
<guyPaulo> From what I understand, the guys who fly the planes over the beaches in Florida don't swim because they can see the multitude of sharks who swim 50-60 feet out from the beachgoers.
