The History of Football Uniforms

NFL Uniforms of today have little in common with those used early in the sport's development, when little or no safety gear was used by most players.

As head injuries began to result in bizzare behavior among some players, the need for the use of helmets also became self-evident.

After years of refinement the NFL now recognises the importance of making sure all players are well-padded.

The challenge was to take the top 3 most emailed photos on yahoo and create a hopefully amusing story about the sequence. I reserve the right to refuse a disturbing picture, this includes any pictures of celine dion.
