Years ago, I went to the zoo on a date. I introduced myself to some rockin' crabs that in the aquatic dome. I thought everything was going smoothly...

But my girlfriend was

...how shall I put it...

extremely crabassgrabtacular.

She suffered 2nd and 3rd degree pinches over 50% of her body, and nearly went into a coma. We married soon after her recovery.

From that moment on, we have made it our life's work to save the crabs' natural predator - the giant invisible landsloth (pictured here) - from total extinction.

<3Suns> 3rd degree pinches... hehe
<mypalmike> The invisible landsloth is a bit, uh, obtuse.
<guyPaulo> Great way to tie in a tough final caption, but don't abuse it.
<Jellyloo> You had me going till the last caption
<Lauren> Good one, obtuse. I liked the fact that the 'invisible' landsloth is PICTURED here.
<yoyology> I'm not enamored of "crabassgrabtacular", but I LOVE the invisible landsloth. Reminds me of the invisible swordsman in Three Amigos.
<apple juice is a verb> ridiculous terms are a sure way to get my vote. crabassgraptacular is my favorite coinage since the sumo wrestler's intense dumpification.
<Mort> I loved crabassgrabtacular but not the invisible landsloth.
<obtuse> I couldn't think of a funny-enough name for the birds, and it didn't occur to me in time to have her recover in a quaint Amish village.
<Roger Mexico> That land-sloth is not so invisible at all. It's right up there in those tree branches, about to pounce on the goddam ducks.
