Description

The challenge was to take the top 3 most emailed photos on yahoo and create a hopefully amusing story about the sequence. I reserve the right to refuse a disturbing picture, this includes any pictures of celine dion.

I nearly, quite almost, ruined the whole damn website. Can someone remind me to backup once in a while? I have the main pages all saved, but not your cunning alternatives or guest days.

<guyPaulo> Hey Mort, here's an idea. Allow three of your devoted caption monkees to create one logo each, then post the logos and have people vote on the best one. I will gladly submit a design for your site myself (not that it would be really good or anything, but it's the effort that counts).

<Mort> I drew a logo once. It was a monkey fighting a hot chick over an email, since all the photos at that time were hot chicks or cute animals.

I lost that logo somewhere.

Anyway, as long as it's file size small, fits with the site and I like it...
Then it's all good.

<yoyology> Okay, it's an enormous file, it's in .bmp, and it's not web-optimized in any way, but I don't exactly have the tools. Just MS Publisher and MS Paint. Here it is anyway, though:

<yoyology> Morticia: I can make changes/send you the .pub file if you want. Did I match the colors right? (yoyology is colorblind)

<Mort> The colours seem to match fine. I'm not sure how clear the photographs are going to be when the image is reduced to a linking button size.
I can redo it in photoshop/illustrator to make the edges of the text smoother. I am still at work, so I haven't had a great deal of time to think about it.

guyPaulo - nice font, but I think it need something else. :)
