My class took a fieldtrip to the nation's capitol. There we got to play hide and go seek with the National Guard.
Unfortunately they don't have much of a sense of humor, and got really pissy when we were found hiding in the Lincoln Bedroom.

After that educational jaunt in the Executive branch of government we got an up close and personal look at the Judicial branch ... from the inside. Courtny here gave us a tour of our new quarters in Cellblock 69.

We were joined a short while later by a former intern to the US Congress. She finished our education with the workings of the Legisative branch and all the acrobatics it takes to get a bill through the Senate.

<3Suns> Did she sing a little song entitled "How a Bill Becomes a Law"?
<Carol> Kumiho, you should write Civics textbooks! Make them interesting, like.
<Kumiho> Thanks Carol, but I don't think the US Government would exactly like how I plan to teach Civics.
