Description

The challenge was to take the top 3 most emailed photos on yahoo and create a hopefully amusing story about the sequence. I reserve the right to refuse a disturbing picture, this includes any pictures of celine dion.

<Carol> I'm waiting for Lauren to tell you that pandas aren't really bears.
<yoyology> So, it would make you happier if the second caption was "Ailuropoda melanoleuca"? Doesn't exactly trip off the tongue.
<Carol> Ha ha! Also I guess they are considered "bears," just a different subfamily. Oops. You should probably just ignore everything I say.
<Axolotl> Actually, giant pandas are once again bears. They're in the family Ursidae like the other bears, genus Ailuropoda, The black and brown bears are in the genus Ursus.
<Carol> Thanks Axolotl (as if anyone is still reading here at this point) for the "once again" - I could swear that, in my youth, their bearhood was in dispute. I'm old enough that everything I learned in school was wrong! If I live long enough, maybe it will become right again.
