The sociable humans even learn from other species! Here, a female has learned to fish by observing a grizzly bear's technique.

Females benefit by learning from each other which males to avoid because of parasites.

The Gargantuan Worm exploits this gregarious nature of humans by depositing its larva in the nest of a mated pair.

The exhausted human couple cannot resist its outsized charge's constant pleas for feeding.

<JP> That rocks. You're cuckoo.
<Lauren> Yeah, what he said. I always suspected parenthood was like that whether you have a argantuan worm larva or a human baby to take care of.
<JP> Lauren, first thing they tell you about visiting Argantua is never pet the worm larva, no matter how cute.
<reddman> Did you know Argantua worm larvae taste just like chicken??? And can feed an entire village, idiot?
<mypalmike> We'll always have Argantua.
<Lauren> I move tht we change the name of our little land to Argantua. It has a more ancient feel to it than MEPopia and, besides, it's my birthday today.
<Carol> First a wedding, now a birthday? Now I'm late on TWO things. Congratulations! and Happy Birthday!
<Carol> 10 points to JP for spotting the cuckoo reference.
<JP> Takes one to know one!

Vive le Argantua!
