Yes I saw the Return of the King last night. It was pretty damn fantastic, I had no choice but to do a Lord of the Rings caption.
Oops! Maybe I should have mentioned *SPOILERS*.

<ElvisThePelvis> Elvis has returned to the building. |
<Lauren> I am off now to see Return of the King. I can't wait! |
<yoyology> I won't be seeing it until around New Years. *sigh* |
<yoyology> You know, I don't think I'm so much a caption monquie as a caption lab rat. I just sit here hitting the "Refresh" button in hopes of seeing a pellet of caption or comment rolling down the chute. |
<Mort> Not today it seems. I blame whoever runs this damn place. |
<yoyology> Bloody Canucks. |
<yoyology> Hey! The anti-smoking bra is back! |
<Mort> Who are you calling Canadian? Or are you just blaming Canadians for being from Canada? |
<yoyology> I was guessing. You've alluded before to not being in the States, and your text is sprinkled with British spellings, but I can't see you as a Brit or Aussie, so I went with Canada. |
<Lauren> I keep trying to figure out a caption set where the first one addresses grocery shoppin in Taipei (a tip of the hat to guyPaulo), but I can't come up with something for the others. By the way, Return of the King was awesome. |
<Lauren> Whoops, no wonder I'm unemployed.... That should be "grocery shoppinG in TAIWAN." |
<yoyology> Which caption set are you referring to? Post a link. |
<yoyology> Oh, wait. You're trying to write one. My bad. |
<yoyology> I suggest you do a menu-planning theme. Start with the "main course" from Taiwan, go into something about a "nice bamboo shoot salad" and end with a reference to chicken legs or some kind of pun based on the soccer player's anatomy. |
<Mort> Why is grocery shopping in Taiwan a hat tip to guyPaulo? Am I missing some in-joke here? |
<yoyology> From yesterday: first comment on main page: " I thought we'd see the photo of the Tawanese chef preparing the dog carcass today. Yes, I'm being serious." |
<Mort> See I read that, but then I clearly forgot all about it. |
