Nasa provided startling new shots of Saturn today.

Bush laughed off the shots as more libreal claptrap. Real Christian Astronimers told him the Earth is the center of the Universe and God created the start and planets by painting pictures on the heavens.

This statement revealed to America Bush's true nature.

<ElvisThePelvis> Everytime we have Bush on MEP I loose my funny and my cynical shows up.
<guyPaulo> Does this mean that we are going to launch into another 54-comment debate about science?
<ElvisThePelvis> I hope not. Anyone who draws their belief system from a single source scares me.
<ajiav>
<guyPaulo> Personally, I draw my world-view from "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," but that's just me.
<ajiav> all world-views involve some basic assumptions, and religion is not all bad.
<ElvisThePelvis> No religion is not bad at all...but we should all multi-source our belief systems. Read other points of view, understand your fellow man...and all that shit.
<David Byrden> I define 'science' as 'trusting the evidence', and 'religion' as 'trusting what some guy said'.
<Mort> Unless you dig out your own evidence they both become "trusting what some guy said the evidence is". Depends who you think is the most believable.

I don't (or at least try not to) have a belief system.

<ElvisThePelvis> Mort, the lack of a belief system is a belief system.
<Mort> I don't believe that.
<ElvisThePelvis> :)
<David Byrden> Ah, but with Science you can check the guys' evidence. Usually.
<Noone of concern> The wisdom of the world is foolishness in the eyes of God.
<David Byrden> Mr.or Ms. Concern: could you please show us your evidence for this claim?
