<Carol> I had thought you might want to sleuth out the answer yourself, but apparently that's just me!? In Spanish nieve=snow so it took me a while to get past "snowy rubbish."
<Lauren> Carol, I had heard this expression before but did go to a Latin-English translator just to make sure. I suppose I should have let guy figure it out, but I don't like to see him get frustrated.
