In a shocking turn of events, the Dalai Lama repudiated the common misconception that Budhist monks pray for inner peace or personal salvation on a higher plane.

He revealed that they are actually praying for a gentle peace here on earth for all mankind, including acceptance of each other despite our differences....

.... and for a little pussy to sit on their laps or to rub their backs.
