I wonder what other captions you could do with this group of images. I guess I will wait to see what turns up.
I don't like to use the signs of the end of the world format, it feels like cheating to me. It's the same thing as using individual news report to link together the images, it's cheap. An intricate story which involves all 3 images is by far a more skilled task. Although these images just screamed to be handled as signs of the end of the world.
You may also assume from this caption (and others) that I am some mad liberal, who hates everything republican. While this might be true, I reserve the right to satire everyone in power and celebrity. If it had been Bill Clinton in the last image instead of George Bush, the punchline caption would have read: Intern Mariah left Clinton with his head glowing.
