Man has finally come to the realization that he was just another primate blindly reaching for meaning in an unordered universe, and has abandoned all pointless, traditionalist spirituality.

Well, except for in Texas, where the peasants still routinely offer small children in sacrife to "Cthulujubjub; the Slimy Overlord of Blarh'Arg'Tah".
