The challenge was to take the top 3 most emailed photos on yahoo and create a hopefully amusing story about the sequence. I reserve the right to refuse a disturbing picture, this includes any pictures of celine dion. Please feel free to add alternative captions if you can or comments if you can't. All rights to the photos belong to the companies in brackets beneath them. All text, concepts and layout is copyright Mort 2003-2007. |

Sorry for the lateness. I still don't have internet access at home. Adelphia seems to have brand new 'value' packages -- I get to choose from:

| <3Suns> what happened to guest tuesday? | ||
| <yoyology> It's guest Wednesday, silly. | ||
| <3Suns> Ah. I've only been around for about a week and last week's guest day was tuesday. Are you the same yoyology from memepool, btw? 'cause memepool kicks ass. | ||
| <yoyology> I am. Also formerly of linkfilter.net, also webmaster of the moribund yoyology.com, and also Karl on LISNews.com. And now that I look back, you're right. The last several guest caption days have been Tuesdays. What am I thinking? | ||
| <Mort> Well they get posted on Tuesday, but you write the captions on Wednesday. Just like how the date above is for yesterday and not today. | ||
| <Luminaire> Heeheehee. Karl. Guest caption days are definitely Wednesdays -- this I know because I'm never at work on Wed, and consequently don't ever get to write a guest caption. I think Mort uses the preceding dates, though, because that's when the photos were actually emailed....?? | ||
| <yoyology> Aha! I get it! | ||
| <ElvisThePelvis> My head hurts so bad. Is today Tuesday or Wednesday...or is it some other day that corporations invented for shopping, kind of like valentine's day? | ||
| <yoyology> It's Florzday. Named after the ancient Norse goddess of confusion. | ||
| <guyPaulo> This is really weird. Today I was seriously going to ask yoyo if he's the same as the memepool contributor. Yoyo, did you have anything to do with this site being featured on memepool? | ||
| <Luminaire> Febturday? | ||
| <yoyology> I didn't post mostemailed on memepool, but reading the memepool post about mostemailed brought me here. | ||
| <yoyology> "yoyology" is pretty unique to me. I've had a couple of people track down my e-mail address and thank me for posting them on memepool. | ||
| <mypalmike> Today is Plasmaday. Buy your loved one one of these huge plasma screens. It'll help the economy, and you'll get to watch more TV! | ||
| <Mort> Scromp linked this site on memepool, giving me 50,000 hits in one day. The New York times gave me 125 hits in one day. Thats how powerful memepool is. The photos are from yesterday's mostemailed list, therefore the date is yesterday. Also I normally update on yesterdays and not on todays. | ||
| <guyPaulo> Mort! I've been using your date for all my documents at work! Gads, the horror! This will teach me not to waste time at my cubical of solitude. | ||
| <Mort> If I don't have internet connection tonight, then I will have to start guest day using my cell phone. Which will be hard since it only can deal with 64x64 256 colour images. | ||
| <Mort> Just testing :) | ||
| <Roger Mexico> Dudes, you gotta hand it over to me! | ||
