Scientists on the Mars rover project were expecting to find nothing but boring rocks, as far as the eye could see.

As such, the rover was ill equipped to first contact with a race of talking, intelligent miniature tigers.

They did tell us, however, that the missing first rover had been destroyed by a giant space turtle, who was now turning his evil gaze toward Earth.
