Today on Wild Universe, Humankind.
In childhood, humans tend to be interested in other species. Hippos and crocs are always a big hit with youngsters.

With the onset of puberty their natural curiosity turns inward, and focuses on unusual hair growths and the development of mammary glands.

Sadly, by middle age most of their interests turns to shock value and reruns of Perry Mason. This is why the Galactic Counsel has forbidden the removal of humans from their natural habitat.

<Lauren> Gee, and I thought removal of humans from their natural habitat was restricted to protect the rest of the galaxy. Thanks for clearing up that misconception.
